Pakistan has experienced a drop of nine percentage in textile exports. This is one of the worst performance by this sector. The Pakistan exporters feel that intense competition from China and Bangladesh have wounded them along with high production cost. The production costs are high compared to their main competitors such as China and Bangladesh, this make them uncompetitive in global market. The exporter demand for more R&D setups to increase the exports.
