The dyers association choose to register their protest and called for a one day fast on 10-May-2011, the turn out was very few. The unity amongst the member seems to be all time low. Many dyeing unit are busy finding a new location or already established a legal / Illegal dyeing and bleaching units in other districts. The low turn out suggest that people in Tirupur have started to accept the hard reality that nothing much could be done to resolve the dyeing issues for at least now. election results will be out in less than a day, let us wait if there could be any support from the newly elected government.
